Anna Cox, LCES Student of the Month for August sponsored by Rayle EMC. Rayle EMC is sponsoring Lincoln County Elementary School's Student of the Month program. Each month, a grade level will be selected and the teachers will nominate one of their homeroom students whom demonstrates the following strengths: respect of self and others, a positive leader by example, shows acts of kindness, overcomes physical or mental challenges, displays good conduct and responsibility, assists others in need, and puts forth genuine academic effort.

One student from the grade level will then be selected by Rayle EMC as the Student of the Month. The student will receive a t-shirt and certificate of recognition in order to moti- vate all students so that they may strive for excellence.

August's Student of the Month is kindergarten student Anna Cox! Her teacher, Mrs. Marcia Brown, describes Anna as "always striving for perfection. She is a positive leader and a great role model for all of the students in the class. She helps other students and has one of the biggest and best hearts." Congratulations Anna!
