Brenda Joyce Arnett Lynch, 62, of Turkey Creek Road, wife of H. Steve Lynch, entered into rest Friday, September 5, 2008 at Ft. Sanders Hospital, Sevierville, Tenn.

Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. on Monday, September 8 at Oakbrook Memorial Park with Mrs. Becky Lynch officiating.

Born in Greenwood, S.C., she was a daughter of Robert and Sudie Mae Ashmore Arnett. Mrs. Lynch was retired and was a member of Lowell Street United Methodist Church.

Surviving are her husband of the home; a son Billy Whaley of Richmond, Va.; a daughter Deborah Hughes of Orangeburg, S.C.; a sister, Betty Smith and her husband, Danny of Greenwood; a brother, Robert "Bobby" Arnett and his wife Becky, of Ware Shoals; and two grandchildren, April Sims and Brandon Whaley.

Pallbearers were Danny Smith, Donnie Ashmore, Bobby Arnett and Mark Smith.

Memorials may be made to a charity of ones choice.
