Frances White Bussey, 90, of Modoc, S.C., entered into rest Friday, August 29, 2008 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center in Shelby, N.C.

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, August 31 at Modoc Baptist Church with Revs. Marion Adams, Glenn Hendley, Robert Patton and Dr. John Adams officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery.

Formerly of Modoc, she was the daughter of the late Bessie and Ollie White. She was retired from the Mc- Cormick County School System.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Marvin Bussey and a sister, Aminee White.

Survivors include two daughters, Carrie Bussey Adams and husband, Marion, of Shelby, N.C. and Lexie Bussey Ashmore and husband, Nathaniel, of Lincolnton; a brother, Wilbur White of Fountain Inn, S.C.; four grandchildren and eight grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Modoc Baptist Church.
