State Troopers from the Washington Post of the Georgia State Patrol investigated one traffic crash during the month of August in Lincoln County. Sergeant First Class Andrews said the traffic crash resulted in two injuries.

SFC Andrews said troopers from Post 17 also issued 38 traffic citations in the county during the month. The total includes one arrest for driving under the influence, five citations for speeding, and 24 seat belt violations. Troopers also issued 57 warnings.
