Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Pereira are proud to announce the birth of their son, Logan Walter, born August 8, 2008 at Baptist Hospital in Nashville, Tenn. He weighed nine pounds, ten and onehalf ounces and was twenty-two inches long.

Maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Andre M. LaPlume of Lincolnton.

Paternal grandparents are the late Walter Pereira and Jeannine Pereira of Vancouver, Canada.

Mrs. Pereira is the former Chandra LaPlume of Lincolnton.
