Irvin issues recall on two food products due to unlisted sulfites
      Tommy Irvin, Georgia Agriculture Commissioner, is alerting consumers about two food products from China that have been recalled because they contain sulfites without listing them on the label. Consumers who have severe sensitivity to sulfites run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reactions if they consume these products.

      The Georgia Department of Human Resources, Division of Aging Services' GeorgiaCares SMP program is providing tips to Medicare beneficiaries on protecting themselves against identity theft and Medicare fraud. GeorgiaCares SMP provides health insurance counseling, as well as assistance with reporting and following up on Medicare fraud, abuse and error.

Dayton, Williams are winners of Office Xpress Dream Vacation
      Cameron Dayton of Hiawassee, Georgia, and Dr. Robert Williams of Lincolnton won the "Dream Vacation" contest Office Xpress sponsored. The Bank of Hiawassee employs Cameron Dayton. The contest ran from June 2 to July 31. To qualify, contestants had to purchase a minimum order of $150. There was no limit on the number of single orders.
