Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Griffith are proud to announce the birth of their son, Charlie Banks, born July 30, 2008 at Trinity Hospital. He weighed six pounds, eleven ounces and was nineteen and one-quarter inches long.

Maternal grandparents are Ms. Judy Bradley and the late Mr. Robert Bradley of Lincolnton. Maternal great-grandparents are the late Mr. and Mrs. Peyton Banks, the late Mr. and Mrs. Moody Banks of Lincolnton and the late Mr. and Mrs. D.L. Bradley of Tignall, Ga.

Paternal grandparents are Ms. Myra Griffith and the late Mr. Virgil Griffith of Lincolnton. Paternal great-grandparents are the late Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Ross Resse of Lincolnton, Ms. Maude Griffith and the late Mr. Sanders Griffith of Washington, Ga.

Banks was welcomed home by his big brother, Cody James, nine, and his big sister, Annaleigh, four.
