JONATHAN MICHAEL BOTELHO JONATHAN MICHAEL BOTELHO Mr. Jonathan Michael Botelho, 29, entered into rest on Sunday, August 3, 2008 at his residence.

Graveside services were held at 6 p.m. on Thursday, August 7, at Pine Grove Church Cemetery with Rev. Philip Kinney officiating. A memorial service will be held at Diamond Lakes in Augusta, at a later date.

Jonathan was born on December 10, 1978 in Newport, Rhode Island. He was a 1997 graduate of Long Cane Academy and was employed by Richmond County Parks and Recreation at Diamond Lakes.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Peggy Creech Hasselberger and Herbert L. Pugh.

Survivors include his parents, Dorothy Pugh Botelho of Lincolnton and Alfred J. Botelho and wife, Renee of Winterville, Ga.; a sister, Tammy Botelho Caudell and husband, Cale of Jefferson, Ga.; a brother, Shawn T. Botelho and Amy Danner of Augusta, Ga.; paternal grandparents, Alfred and Arminda Botelho of Winterville; maternal grandfather, John Hasselberger of Lincolnton; and girlfriend, Katie Miller of Augusta.

Pallbearers were Darrell Bennett, Dustin Hadden, Jamie Edmunds, David Miller, Mike O'Neill, Jesse Wagoner and Randal Regan.

In lieu of flowers the family ask that memorial contributions be made in memory of Jonathan Botelho to Augusta Recreation and Parks Department, Attn: Darrell Bennett, 2027 Lumpkin Rd., Augusta, GA. 30906.
