The Lincoln County Ministerial Association is hosting the annual "Prayer Walk of Schools" at LCES, LCMS, and LCHS tonight (Thursday), beginning at 7 p.m.

"The purpose of this event is for our churches and community to come together and pray for the faculty, staff, administration, students, and their families at each school," said Rev. Keith Etheridge, pastor of Double Branches Baptist Church and secretary for the ministerial association. "We pray for a safe environment for learning as well as for spiritual renewal for all associated with the school system."

Those who wish to participate in the Prayer Walk should assemble at the main entrance to the campus of their choice where they will receive instructions for the walk.

"This kind of event has met with great acceptance in Lincoln County," according to Rev. Etheridge. "It has always been a positive experience for our community."

All Lincoln County residents are encouraged to take part in the Prayer Walk of Schools tonight.
