MR. AND MRS. ROBERT PADGETT Christie Rachels and Robert Padgett were united in marriage at six o'clock in the evening on July 12, 2008 at the Westin Beachfront Resort in Hilton Head Island, S.C.

The bride was given in marriage by her son, Cason Chalker. Daugh- ters, Mallie and Marlie Chalker, served as junior bridesmaids.

Following a wedding trip to Clearwater Beach, Florida, the couple will reside at 1934 Augusta Highway, Lincolnton.
