The Lincoln County Grand Jury will convene on Monday, August 4, at 9:30 a.m. at the Lincoln County Courthouse.

Judge Harold A. Hinesley is set to preside over the proceedings.

In his comments, Superior Court Clerk Bruce Beggs asked jurors to call 706-359-5505 from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. the week prior to court to verify the receipt of their summons.

He went on to remind jurors that cell phones will not be permitted in the courtroom.

Prospective jurors for the term are: Stanley Edward Adams, Derrick Juan Barksdale, Nelson Charles Bennett, Donald R. Best, Gary Edward Blevins, Judy Banks Bradley, Amanda Cecile Bugg, Shirley Carroll.
