Harvey Lee "Bo" Jones, 48, passed away on Monday, June 23, 2008 at Wills Memorial Hospital in Washington.

Funeral services were held at New Tabernacle Baptist Church in Lincolnton on Sunday, June 29, at 1 p.m. with Pastor Matthew Hardin presiding and Pastor Franklin Jones as the eulogist.

Mr. Jones was born on June 29, 1959. He worked at Georgia Pacific for 25 years preceding his illness. His hobbies included gardening, fishing, making outdoor furniture, and baking sweet potato pies.

Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his father, Mr. R.T. Jones and his brother, Mr. Artee Jones.

Survivors include: his wife, Claudette Jones; mother, Rozellar Jones; four daughters: D'Metric (Duntrael) Moss, Monica Norman, Jasmine Lane, and Mariah Jones; eight sisters: Lizzie (Willie) Bolton, Margaret J. Beard, Mary Ann (Craig) Norman, Bernice Jones, Barbara (Horace) Leverett, Jackie Jones, Patsy E. (Alvin) Murray, and Angela (Anthony) Brown; four brothers: Jeffery Jones, Kenny (Teresa) Jones, Gary (Essie) Jones, and Franklin (Kathy) Jones; mother-in-law, Lucy Mae Evans; eight sister-in-laws; two brother-in-laws; two grandchildren Destiny A. Booker and Josiah M. Jones.

Pallbearers were: Savalas Towns, Jesse Mason, Roy Norman, Mitchel Tutt, Dennis Harris, Marvin Norman, David Anderson, Janard Dodd, and Mike Stephens.

Honorary pallbearers were nephews.

McLendon Memorial Funeral Home of Washington, Georgia was in charge of arrangements.
