A fishing tournament for kids up to age 16 was held at the Cox Farm on Saturday, June 14, 2008. Thirty kids participated in the tournament and 68 fish were caught. Following the tournament, lunch was served and prizes and coupons were given to all kids who participated. Special prizes were given for the first fish caught, the largest fish caught, the smallest fish caught, and the most fish caught, and a drawing was held for two $50 savings bonds.
