LUCINDA M. COLLINS AND CLAY SMITH Mr. and Mrs. Larry Collins are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Lucinda Marie Collins, to Mr. Clay Smith of Harlem, Georgia. Luci is the granddaughter of Mrs. Mildred Drinkard Collins and Mr. Sneed N. Collins of Cotter, Arkansas, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Pelham Ward formerly of Lincolnton. She is a graduate of Mercer University in Macon and now works as a learning specialist with Partners In Achievement in Martinez.

Clay is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Grover C. Smith of Blythe, Georgia. He graduated from Georgia Military College in Milledgeville. Clay is now a Captain with the Columbia County Sheriff's Office.

The wedding is planned for November 1, 2008 at First Baptist Church in Augusta, Georgia.
