The following local students completed requirements for their degrees at the end of the 2008 spring semester at the University of Georgia.

Sarah Elizabeth Dunsmore, received a master of education degree and Christopher Edward Stokes II of Tignall received a bachelor of arts degree.

Each students participated in the university's commencement exercise which was held on May 10 at UGA.
