Wiley inducted into honor society at MCG April 15

Wiley was honored on April 15 at the Medical College of Georgia School of Medicine by being inducted as an Alumni into the Georgia Chapter of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Selected students, residents, faculty and alumni from the MCG School of Medicine were inducted during the ceremony.
Alpha Omega Alpha is the only national honor society for medicine in the United States. Founded in 1902, AOA fosters honesty and higher ideals of scholastic achievement. Each year the chapter elects two alumni faculty members to be inducted. Alumni members of AOA are distinguished individuals who have earned a doctoral degree and have demonstrated a commitment to scholarly excellence and medical education.
Dr. Wiley has served as a Family Physician in Thomson, Georgia for over 17 years. As a graduate of MCG, Dr. Wiley currently serves as a MCG Clinical Associate Professor and has been active in teaching medical students in his practice since 1992. Dr. Wiley is credentialed as a Certified Medical Director and is an Attending Physician and Director of several nursing facilities in the CSRA. Dr. Wiley has also served as an Attending Physician and Board Member at McDuffie Regional Medical Center since 1991.
