Broun invites public to attend Grants Fair at Augusta State
U.S. Congressman Paul C. Broun, M.D. has announced that he will be hosting a "Grants Fair" at Augusta State University Fri., April 25. The "Grants Fair," which will be held in the Augusta State University Student Center Ballroom, will begin at 1:00 p.m. and will conclude at 3:30 p.m. Broun: "My office stands ready to assist anyone wishing to pursue a grant."
The event is designed to give constituents and organizations an opportunity to directly communicate with federal, state, local and nonprofit agencies that provide funding and service opportunities. "I am pleased to announce that I will be hosting a 'Grants Fair' at Augusta State University on April 25, and I invite any- one interested to come by and learn about the grants process," said Broun. "Part of my job is to make these grants programs known so that people throughout the 10th District can benefit from the opportunities they offer. I look forward to seeing everyone at Augusta State University. My office stands ready to assist anyone wishing to pursue a grant."
The Augusta State University Student Center Ballroom is located at 2500 Walton Way, Augusta. Congressman Broun has arranged for representatives from the U.S. Department of Labor, the Georgia Student Finance Commission, the U.S. Department of Agriculture, and the Appalachian Regional Commission to attend the "Grants Fair."
