Registration deadline is March 7 for nationwide ACT testing
      College-hopeful high school students can take the ACT college admission and placement exam on April 12, 2008, the next nationwide test date. The registration postmark deadline is March 7. The registration fee is $30 for the traditional ACT (without the writing test) and $44.50 for the ACT Plus Writing. The late registration postmark deadline is March 21.

Senate continues hectic pace
      The 2008 legislative session continued this week and Crossover Day will soon be upon us. Next week, I expect that committee members will be meeting daily at the Capitol working to pass as many bills as possible within the next four legislative days.
