Mr. Barney "Sonny" C. Duncan, Jr., 68, of Plum Branch, S.C., entered into rest Sunday, January 27, 2008.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, January 29 at Plum Branch Baptist Church. Interment followed at Freeland Cemetery.

Mr. Duncan was retired from Owens Corning, he was a mechanic and a member of Plum Branch Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Sara F. White Duncan; a son, Barney "Ripper" Duncan of Aiken, S.C.; a daughter, Julie Jordan of N. Augusta, S.C.; a step-son, John White of Plum Branch; five step-daughters, Diane Mason of Plum Branch, Janice Davis of Plum Branch, Carla Hudler of Lincolnton, Lisa Gardner of Ninety Six, S.C., and Vickie Sells of Mooresville, N.C.; fourteen grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and one greatgreat grandson.

Pallbearers were James Cless, Ricky Welson, Kevin Sells, Brandon Sells, Jerry Horne, Scotty Vaughan, DJ Barnette and Dan Barnett.

Strom Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
