Amanda McAvoy, bride elect to Christopher Sanders of Lincolnton was honored with a lingerie shower on Saturday afternoon, January 26, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Christopher Burgess in Lincolnton, Georgia.

Guests included friends and family of Chris & Amanda. Also present were the prospective bridegroom's mother, Mrs. Darryl Sanders, and the bride-elect's mother, Mrs. Benji McAvoy. Special guest included Amanda's sister, Amy Thomas of Eatonton.

Casual attire was the dress for the evening and the bride-elect chose to wear a Bride to be Shirt, made by the bride's sister, Amy. Everyone was asked to sign the shirt for a keepsake for the bride. The Burgess home was decorated in a bachelorette theme.

Guest enjoyed heavy hors d'oeuvres of: ham and turkey rolled sandwiches and pickles, apple slices and caramel dip, spinach and ranch dip with chips, and fruit cups. They also enjoyed chocolate cake with black and hot pink polka dots and chocolate dipped strawberries for dessert.
