Mr. and Mrs. Wade Hall of Washington announce the birth of their daughter, Amelia Ruth, on Monday, January 14, at University Hospital in Augusta. Amelia weighed 7 lbs. 7 ozs. and was 20 inches long.

Maternal grandparents are Eddie Harper Jr. of Lincolnton and Mrs. Debra Harper of Jasper. Maternal great-grandparents are Mrs. Betty Morton of Rayle, the late Charles Russell Hendricks of Washington and the late Mr. and Mrs. Edward A. Harper Sr. of Lincolnton.

Paternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Hall of Washington. Paternal great-grandparents are the late Mr. and Mrs. George T. Hall Sr. of Washington and the late Mr. and Mrs. Horace Drew of Lincolnton.

Mrs. Hall is the former Renee Harper of Lincolnton.
