Bufford takes on role of Peter Pan in Atlanta Feb. 8-10

Lincoln County native Carole Bufford has a lot to crow about these days - she will be taking on the title role in the musical "Peter Pan" Friday, February 8, through Sunday, February 10, at the Ferst Center for the Arts, located on the Georgia Tech campus in Atlanta.

The musical is being directed by Brandt Blocker, artistic director and general manager of the Atlanta Lyric Theatre.

Since her graduation from Ithaca College in Ithaca, New York, in 2004, Bufford has experienced quite a few career highlights, including landing the title role in the touring cast of the musical, "Junie B. Jones," and playing the role of Kween in the off- Broadway production of "Trouble in Shameland."
