Twenty-eight to vie for title of Lincoln Young Miss Jan. 31
The Lincoln Young Miss Pageant will be held Thursday, January 31, beginning at 7 p.m. in the LCHS Auditorium.
The pageant is being sponsored by the school's Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) chapter.
Entertainment for the evening will be provided by FBLA members Tiquilla Williams and Donquita Williams, with chapter officers serving as emcees.
In addition to the title of Lincoln Young Miss, winners and first runners up in three divisions will also be named. The winners will be crowned by Savanna Barnett, the 2007 Lincoln Young Miss.
This year, 28 contestants are vying for the title of Lincoln Young Miss. Grouped by division, the young ladies are:
Wee Young Miss (Kindergarten and First Grade) - Maria Kelsey Baker, Kayson Erin Bentley, Emilie Milera Bolton, Megan Houck, Ameriah Desiree Elam, Kimya PerSheinta Ferguson, Nakisha C. Hill, Miranda Moreno, Brittany Ann Phillips, and Chloe Pope.
Tiny Young Miss (Second and Third Grades) - Haley Adcock, Carlie Nicole Bolton, Savannah Cliatt, Savannah Gray, Katie Britt McKinney, and Mikaela Irene Uscanga.
Little Young Miss (Fourth and Fifth Grades) - Allissia Brown, Payton Cosby, Lalla Adele Dawkins, Shelbikale Edmond, Carson Goldman, Sabrina Elizabeth Harvey, Natasia Amberly Harris, Ashley Miller, Felisha Lynn Paradise, Courtney Spratlin, Erin Danielle Thornton, and Ashton Wylie.
Admission to the pageant is $4 for adults and $2 for middle school students and younger. Gold Cards will be accepted.
