Dressed for success

Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) celebrated American Enterprise Day on November 15, 2007. Several students "dressed for success" by wearing business attire to school. Pictured left to right are: Kentrell Norman, Emmi Layton, Christina Baker, Donquita Williams, Shaquanna Taylor, Taylor Dukes, Jazmon Dukes, Jeffery Brown, Janelle Dukes, Savannah Crook, Brittany Perkins, Kitty Ball, Shannon Norman, Sara Anne Remsen, and Kimber Kirkland.

Mrs. Dukes' Computer Applications class walked to several local businesses and enjoyed breakfast at the Home Cafe. Johnny Vick of The Home Cafe, Marcus Spratlin from Spratlin Hardware, Hilyer Wright of R&W Auto Parts and Michael Wengrow of Wengrow and Goldman shared with the class some of their knowledge of running a business. These businesses were presented a certificate of appreciation from FBLA for operating in Lincolnton.
