Life-saving gift
Those Lincoln County residents who have yet to display their house numbers for emergency personnel are encouraged to purchase the signs as Christmas gifts for themselves. In some cases, the markers can literally mean the difference between life and death. Locally, the 911 signs may be purchased at Spratlin Hardware & Building Supply, B & J Appliance & Signs, and P & D Electronics. Pictured are: (l-r) Jim Butler of the Lincoln County Code Enforcement Office; Stephanie Eicher, clerk for the Lincoln County Department of Public Works; and EMT Martin Braden.
