Making a difference
A check for $1,050 was presented to the Lincoln County Food Pantry by Jim Rowland (c) on behalf of J & T Service Center and its employees. The money was raised at J & T's Christmas party - employees bid on two gift items, with the company matching the funds generated by the auction. Speaking for the food pantry, treasurer Evelyn Norman (second from left) thanked the company and its employees for their generosity. The pantry feeds an average of 150 Lincoln County families each month. Pictured with Rowland and Norman are: (l-r) Carrie Parker, operations manager at the pantry; Emma Smith; and Marveen Zellars.
