No one injured in armed robbery at Family Dollar Store

An unidentified male, wearing a ski mask and brandishing a shotgun, entered the Family Dollar Store around closing time Thursday, December 6, and demanded money from the two cashiers on duty.

"Both women complied with the robber's request, handing over an undisclosed amount of cash," stated Jim Justice, chief of the Lincolnton Police Department. "The subject then fled the building through the back door."
