Holidays in Olde Lincoln Town

Wow! What a great success the 10th Annual Holidays in Olde Lincolnton and Parade was. Thanks to everyone for their tireless efforts to organize and manage an event like this.Even though the hours were long and the tasks were many, it was all worth the effort when you see the joy and excitement that filled the eyes of every child. It's that joy and excitement that is why we have Holidays in Olde Lincoln Towne.

A big thank you to our chamber members and sponsors who helped make this event possible. Special thanks to all our vendors and down town merchants for staying open late. Thank you to the Court House Employees who took time out of their busy schedules to have refreshments for the community tree lighting service and fireworks. Our appreciation is also extended to all the law enforcement officers that assisted with traffic control throughout this event. Thanks to all the parade entrants. Wow, what awesome entries this year! Without each of you we just mentioned, things would not have been possible.

Most of all, thank you to our community. Thank you for coming out and supporting this event. We hope that each of you enjoyed it. It was great to "see people passing, people laughing, meeting smile after smile." Our hearts were filled with gladness as families and friends celebrated the Christmas season together. It is that kind of community that Lincolnton and Lincoln County needs to exemplify throughout the year.

Finally, a very special thank you to our visitors from the North Pole. Mr. & Mrs. Claus, we hope you enjoyed your visit to Lincolnton and Lincoln County. Thanks for EVERYTHING you did.
