Rivers attend Baptist convention Nov. 12-15 at Marriot in Augusta

REV. AND MRS. ALVIN RIVERS

Rev. and Mrs. Alvin Rivers of Saint Luke Baptist Church attended the 137th session of the General Missionary Baptist Convention of Georgia, Inc. November 12 - 15. This event was hosted by the 10th district churches which Saint Luke is a part of.

The convention was held at the Marriot Hotel on Two-Tenth Street in Augusta. During the week the Holy Spirit was the special guest.

Rev. and Mrs. Rivers would like to acknowledge their church family and thank them for serving as their sponsor. Although they enjoyed luxury hotel accommodations at DoubleTree Hotel, and fine dining at various restaurants, they are most grateful for the spiritual training provided through lectures and preaching from pastors and dignitaries across the state of Georgia.
