Lavern Bohler Goldman, 85, of Greenwood, S.C., widow of Vernon Eugene Goldman, entered into eternal rest Saturday, November 24, 2007 at the Hospice House of Greenwood.
Funeral services were conducted at 3 p.m. on Monday, November 26 from the Blyth Funeral Home Chapel with Revs. T. Samuel Hart and Gerald Bohler officiating. Interment followed in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
Born in Lincolnton, Georgia on November 17, 1922, she was the first daughter of the late James Jeffery and Frances Minerva Holloway Bohler. She retired from Greenwood Mills Durst Plant, she was a member of Greenwood First Assembly of God where she formerly taught the Jr. Girls Sunday School Class for many years. She was also a member of the Abbeville Highway Good Neighbor Club.
Survivors include a son, R. Watson and his wife Darlene T. Goldman of Greenwood; two granddaughters, Nancy Carol Jepsen of Travelers Rest and Candace Lynn Goldman of Greenwood; one great-grandson, Dana Lee "D.J." Price, Jr. of Travelers Rest; one sister, Jean Faulkner of Greenwood; four brothers, Morgan Bohler of Greenwood, Clint Bohler of Columbia, Earnest Bohler of Greenville and Reverend Gerald Bohler of Easley.
Pallbearers were Alan Puckett, Jerry Puckett, Dewey Sprouse, Jerry Sprouse, Bill Faulkner, Tommy Pruitt, Philip Cochrane and Robert McCraw.
