Students attending the Georgia Music Educators Association District 10 Honor Chorus were, (l-r): Breanna Morris, Kashade Andrews, Jessica Wynn, Nicole Beard, Sarah Herring, Ashley Rivera, Amy Boland, Lindsey Young, Julie Bennett, and Tom Reed.
Ten Lincoln County High School choral students attended the Georgia Music Educators Association District 10 Honor Chorus event on Monday, November 5, 2007. The event was held at the First Baptist Church of Augusta.

These students were chosen to participate in this event by LCHS choral director, Carolee Hobbins. Arriving at the church at 8:30 a.m., the students then began a rigorous rehearsal schedule with Dr. Frank Green of Peachtree City. Dr. Green is a well known choral director and has been the guest clinician at honor choruses and all state choruses. He has also had groups perform at the state level of Georgia Music Educators as well as the American Choral Directors Association national level events.

District 10 houses approximately 12 other high schools and all were in attendance at the honor chorus. There were approximately 175 high school students involved in the event. The day culminated with a concert that evening where the students performed Blue Skies, Dear Lord and Father, Von Ewiger Liebe, and The Pasture.
