Chamber Chatter
By: Linda Burns

The 2007 Holidays in Olde Lincoln Town Festival that will be held Saturday, December 1 will bring out the best of the best. Yes, it's that time of the year again for you to get out your crafts and join in the fun of this year's festival and parade.

By-the-way, this year the top prize in the parade is $150 in cold cash for best of show with prizes for second and third place. So get your entries in, dust off your classic cars, put a shine on your daddy's tractor and saddle up your mama's horse for this year's festival. There will be drawings and prizes all day. You could be a winner and have more fun than the law will allow.

There is always room for local talent from homemade candles, jewelry, windchimes, handbags to some of the best art work you have seen. The food, we have everything from hotdogs to barbecue, blooming onions and those delicious funnel cakes just to get your mouth-a-watering.

The entertainment will be awesome and get your foot a tapping. We will have several of the best groups around performing for you. The stage will be full of talent all afternoon. You will be singing along and dancing in the streets.

Well, there is a lot more that I could tell you, but if I did, I would have to......you know the rest of that story. So you've got to come on out and join in all the fun and see and hear for yourself. My name is Linda Burns and I hope to see you at this year's Holidays in Olde Lincoln Town Festival.
