Chamber to host legislative breakfast at Lincolnton UMC
The Lincolnton-Lincoln County Chamber of Commerce will host its 11th annual "Breakfast With Our Legislators" Thursday, December 6, from 8 until 10 a.m. in the fellowship hall at Lincolnton United Methodist Church.

The legislators who have been invited to take part in the event are United States senators Johnny Isakson and Saxby Chambliss; 9th District Congressman Paul Broun; State Senator Bill Jackson (24th District); and State Representative Barry Fleming (117th District).

Following a buffet breakfast, each legislator will give a brief overview of the issues facing the state and/or nation next year. The men will then participate in a question and answer session.

The chamber of commerce extends a special invitation to its membership, elected officials, and other interested parties to attend this event.

Tickets, which cost $15 each, may be purchased at the chamber of commerce office at 112 N. Washington Street or from any chamber director. The deadline is Monday, December 3, at 5 p.m.
