Local fire department visits students at Wee Wisdom

Mr. Michael Wengrow and Mr. Allen of the local fire department, came to talk to the children at Wee Wisdom Little School about all the things they may use when a fire truck is called out to help a person in need.

They explained that when the children hear the sound of a fire truck, someone has called 911 and needs help in some way. The children had many questions to ask and Mr. Michael answered or demonstrated each one. He also let each child sit in his seat of the fire truck and start the siren.

Mr. Michael also brought a fire hat for each child. Everyone at Wee Wisdom wishes to thank Mr. Michael and Mr. Allen for coming and showing them a great time.
