Homecoming Queen to be crowned Fri.

The senior members of the 2007 Homecoming Court at LCHS are: (l-r) Amy Boland, Julie Bennett, Kitty Ball, Asonta Johnson, Madison Saggus, Mandy Pruitt, Nicole Crook, and Sara Anne Remsen. The Homecoming Queen and Princess will be crowned during halftime at the Lincoln County-GMC game set for Friday, November 9, at Buddy Bufford Field.
Homecoming Week is in full swing at LCMS and LCHS.

As in years past, the LCHS Student Council is sponsoring a variety of activities to help students get into the spirit of the week.

One of these activities is the everpopular "Dress Days." They are as follows: Monday - "College/Pro TShirt Day;" Tuesday - "Wacky, Tacky Day;" Wednesday - "Hero Day;" Thursday - "Class Color Day" (each class wears a specific color); and Friday - "Red Devil Spirit Day."

The week-long celebration will likewise feature a "Banner Contest."

The overall "Spirit Week" winners will be selected on the basis of class participation in Dress Days and the Banner Contest. The winners are scheduled to be announced at the Lincoln County-GMC game Friday, November 9, at Buddy Bufford Field.

Also on Friday, formal homecoming festivities will begin with a senior recognition ceremony held prior to the football game. The ceremony is set to start at 6:45 p.m., with kickoff at 7:30.

The seniors being honored are:

Band Members: Idellian Andrews, Julie Bennett, Brittany Calhoun, Jazmon Dukes, Cordarius Harden, Triece Jennings, Charles Jackson, Shay Leverett, Marlena Mason, and Coty Norman.

Softball Players: Savannah Crook, Janelle Dukes, Mandy Pruitt, Sarah Sims, and Christina Stevenson.

Cheerleaders: Hannah Crook, Nicole Crook, Madison Saggus, and Lindsey Young.

Football Players: Ronell Ferguson, Austin Goldman, Jamareon Green, Carlous Hearst, Joshua Hollimon, Daniel Morris, Michael Newman, LaRone Smith, Brandon Sparks, Brian Sparks, Tyler Tonsing, Demarco Watts, Tony Wells, DeChane Willis, and Tristan Wynn.

In other festivities, the 2007 Homecoming Court will be presented at halftime, followed by the crowning of the Homecoming Queen and Princess. The two young ladies will be crowned by Megan Saggus and Franquell Sherman, last year's Homecoming Queen and Princess, respectively.

Representing the senior class on the Homecoming Court are Kitty Ball, Julie Bennett, Amy Boland, Nicole Crook, Asonta Johnson, Mandy Pruitt, Sara Anne Remsen, and Madison Saggus.

Other members of the 2007 Homecoming Court are Latoya Harris and Ashley Rivera, junior class representatives; Hannah Mongrue and Audra
