Cazwell Reed Dorn

Cazwell Reed (Caz) Dorn, 23, Mc- Cormick, S.C., entered into rest on Thursday, October 18, 2007 at the Medical College of Georgia from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Graveside services were held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, October 20 at Mc- Cormick Town Cemetery with Rev. Todd Lynn officiating.

Caz was born at Self Regional Hospital in Greenwood, S.C. on June 6, 1984. He was a graduate of Emerald High School in Greenwood and attended Lander University. He was a member of Parksville Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, George Dorn of McCormick.

Survivors include his parents, John C. (Johnny) and Sharon Reed Dorn; a sister, Lori Holiday of Batesburg Leesville, S.C.; his maternal grandparents, Rosa Mae and Herbert Reed of Lincolnton; and his paternal grandparents, Kate Dorn of McCormick.

Pallbearers were Michael Dorn, Brady Brewer, Ty Osborne, Austin Reed, Dalton Reed and Scott Partridge. Honorary pallbearers were Franky (Tank) Walker, Brian Prince, Jeremy Hodges, J. Gary Dorn, Ron Edmunds, Kevin Edmunds, Robbie Jernigan and David Hill.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Legion Post 20 Baseball Team South Carolina.

Strom Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
