Carolyn Goff

Miss Carolyn Goff, 82, entered into rest on Thursday, October 4, 2007 at Lake Crossing Health Center in Appling, Ga.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Friday, October 5 at Salem Baptist Church with Revs. Deryl Odom and Paul C. Reviere officiating. Interment followed at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 6 at Live Oak Cemetery in Live Oak, Florida.

Miss Goff was the daughter of the late Homer and Verna Lassiter Goff of Live Oak, Florida. She had been a resident of Lincoln County since 1975 where she was employed with the Lincoln County Emergency Medical Services for six and one-half years. She was a member of Salem Baptist Church. Prior to her service with Lincoln County EMS, she was retired as a licensed practical nurse after 30 years of service.

Survivors include a brother, Homer J. Goff of DeLand, Fla.; seven nephews, Kenny Baldwin of Tallahassee, Fla., Mac Todd of Orlando, Fla., Rusty Goff of Clemson, N.C., Sonny Goff of Atlanta, Ga., Bobby Ashley of Dallas, Texas, Dave Baldwin and Ronnie Baldwin of Live Oak; and a very dear friend, Trudelle Bentley of Lincolnton.

Serving as pallbearers were Randall Edmunds, Alan Ivey, Keith Cunningham, Ernie Doss, Bruce Beggs and Billy Paradise. Honorary pallbearers were members of the Lincoln County Emergency Medical Services.

Rees Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
