MR. EDGAR COOPER

Mr. Edgar Cooper, 74, of Plantation Point Road, entered into rest on Monday, October 1, 2007 at University Hospital, Augusta, Ga.

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. on Thursday, October 4 at First Assembly of God with Revs. Lanis Lewis and Terry Bonds officiating. Interment followed at Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens in Thomson, Ga.

Mr. Cooper, a native of Warren County, had lived in Augusta before moving to Lincoln County 21 years ago. He retired from EZ- GO after 37 years of service as a Tool and Die maker. After retirement, he was employed by Eagle Parts in design. He was a member of First Assembly of God, Lincolnton.

Survivors include his wife, Mary T. Cooper; three daughters, Barbara Jean Cooper Holloway and husband, Kenneth of Lincolnton, Evelyn Cooper Wiedeman and husband, Randy of Grovetown, Ga., and Janet Cooper Gracey and husband, Darrel of Lincolnton; one brother, Gene Cooper of Augusta; three sisters, Sally C. Johnson of Warrenton, Ga., Sarah Reid of Thomson and Dovie Howard of Thomson; and five grandchildren.
