Sparring matches
      The Augusta Boxing Club will present its monthly sparring matches on Thurs., Sept. 27 at 5:30 p.m., located at the club's gym at 1929 Walton Way, Augusta. This event is free to the public. Participants will be members of the Augusta Boxing Club's beginner and intermediate classes.

      The lightning postponement didn't stop the energy from the Red Devils, which carried over to the 2 p.m. kickoff on Saturday at Tiger Stadium in Washington. The afternoon start time contributed to the feeling of a college game between two big-time rivals.

Raiders take the win!
     Craig Jones scores for the Raiders in the first Midget Mite game of the 2007 season. The Raiders went on to win 32-14. The next game will be Friday, September 21, 7:30 at Buddy Bufford Stadium. The Cowboys are looking for back so come out and support the future Red Devils! Admission is $2.
