Dorothy Scott Smith

Mrs. Dorothy "Dot" Scott Smith, 67 of Highway 378 of McCormick, S.C. entered into rest on Friday, August 24, 2007 at Self Regional Medical Center, Greenwood, S.C.

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. on Monday, August 27 at Martin's Crossroads Congregational Holiness Church. Interment followed in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Smith, daughter of the late Dan and Bertha Walker Scott, was born in Lincoln County. She was a retired seamstress.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William "Billy" Smith and two grandchildren, Hunter Stevens and Amber Hayes.

Survivors include two daughters, Kim Wall of McCormick and Billie Hayes of Thomson, Ga.; one sister, Hilda Palmer of Lexington, Ga.; two brothers, Billy Scott of Fort Mill, S.C. and Charles Scott of Lincolnton; three grandchildren, Ivy and Destiny Hayes and Cory Wall.
