Pvt. Zellars graduates from basic training at Paris Island, SC

PVT. ZELLARS GRADUATES

Pvt. Dontae Zellars, son of Kisher Zellars and Roy Brittian graduated on August 17, 2007 from Parris Island, South Carolina Marine Base.

Pvt. Zellars was in Platoon 2068 Fox Company, 2nd Recruit Training Battalion and became the Week's Honor Platoon. The platoon achieved an academic average of 91.5, a physical fitness test average of 244 and a final drill score of 70. The platoon also qualified 88.1 percent of its recruits on the rifle range.

Pvt. Zellars is headed to Camp Lejeune, in Jackson, North Carolina for Marine Combat Training. Zellars is a 2007 graduate of Lincoln County High School.
