Steve Simcox

Guerry Steve Simcox, 60, entered into rest on Sunday, July 29, 2007.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, August 1 at Williams Funeral Home Chapel with Revs. Al O'Quinn, Larry Waldrip and Michael Woodham officiating. Interment followed in Baldwin Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Simcox was a native of Dublin, but had lived in Milledgeville for most of his life. He was the son of the late Blaine Richard and Sarah Warren Simcox. He was a member of the NRA and loved the outdoors and hunting.

Survivors include his wife, Donna Simcox of Ivey; a stepdaughter, Patricia Schmidth and husband, Al Driggers of Milledgeville; a stepson, Jack Brown of Milledgeville; his grandchildren, Brea Driggers, Jacqueline Driggers, Blair Driggers and Jessica Driggers, all of Milledgeville; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Williams Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
