Gold Rush festival to be held Sept. 15

McCormick County is holding it's 30th Annual Gold Rush Days Festival Sat., Sept. 15, downtown and surrounding areas of McCormick from 7 a.m. - 6 p.m. Free Shuttle provided.

There will be door prizes of $100, $300, and $500. One free ticket will be issued to each eligible person age 18 and over. Must be present to win, so come join in a day filled with fun and festivities.

The festival will kickoff with a pancake breakfast and yard sale at 7 a.m. in the McCormick United Methodist Church. The parade will begin at 10 a.m. on Main St. There will be vendors all around town with food, souvenirs, art exhibits and much more. Music throughout the day will be provided for your enjoyment by BrassTyme, The Flying Clouds, Pure Heart Music Ministries and Al Bell with his group, Praize Avenue.

An expert appraiser will be available at the Old Cotton Gin Mill to appraise any two (2) items for $20.
