Mandi Leigh Keown to wed Rees B. Carroll Oct. 19

Mr. Jack Wilmoth Keown and Mr. and Mrs. Ronnie Wayne Deal, of McCormick, South Carolina, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Mandi Leigh Keown, to Rees Brophy Carroll, son of Mr. James Robert Carroll, of Eastman, Georgia, and Mr. and Mrs. Tommy Ancil Lee, of Lincolnton, Georgia.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mary Elizabeth McGrath Garrett, of McCormick, South Carolina and the late Julian Garrett, and the late James Alexander and Olive Mayson Keown. She is a graduate of Lincoln County High School and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication with a concentration in Corporate Communication from the College of Charleston. She is employed by the South Carolina House of Representatives as a Budget Analyst for the Ways and Means Committee in Columbia, South Carolina.
The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Jean Rees David, and the late George Carlyle David and the late Reverend Thomas Kennerly and Callie Brophy Carroll. He is a graduate of Treutlen County High School and earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Georgia. He is employed by Soap Creek Marina in Lincolnton, Georgia.
The wedding is planned for 7:30 p.m. on Friday, October 19, 2007 at Sacred Heart Cultural Center in Augusta, Georgia.
