Mrs. Vivian Murphy Pounds, 77, of Augusta, Georgia entered into rest August 12, 2007 at Augusta Hills Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

No services are planned.

Mrs. Pounds was a member of First Southern Methodist Church of Augusta.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Jennings Pounds; her son, William Glynn Pounds; and her daughter, Debra Pounds Cliatt.

Survivors include a son-in-law, Michael Cliatt of Augusta; and two grandchildren, Allison Cliatt of Statesboro and Kieth Pounds of Dawsonville.
