"Captain Jack" Bryant celebrated his fifth birthday on July 7 at home with a pirate party. The centerpiece of the party was the "Black Pearl" pirate ship created by Jackson's daddy and sissy.

Those attending the party were Jackson's parents, Shane and Stacy, big sissy, Hannah, Katie Remsen, "Mema" Ruth Bryant, Aunt Kitty and Cody Meadows, Aunt Jackie and Lacey Stephens, "Nana" Kay Jester, Mrs. Nancy and Isabella Dawkins, Mrs. Brenda Carter and Bradlee Britt, Miss Crystal Young with Kaitlyn and Cole Bentley, Mrs. Anna, Grayson, Tranter, and Leslie Kate Duncan, Mr. Kevin, Nicholas, and Benjamin Wade, Mrs. Marty and Cole Hopkins, and Mrs. Paula and Russell Callaway. The children were so cute adorned with eye patches, pirate tattoos, hats, and bandannas complete with mustaches.

The guests enjoyed finger foods and afterward a pirate ship cake was served with ice cream. Then the children were led by Mr. Shane around the "island" in search of the treasure chest which contained all the goody bags for everyone to take home.

Jackson would like to thank everyone for his nice gifts and coming out
