.. Dinna and Brooke Berry visited Marion and Hilda Cliatt for a few days to celebrate Father's Day.
.. Tyler and Courtney Owens spent the past week with their Nana, Nancy Bailey.
.. Margaret NeSmith and Marissa Knight visited Nancy Bailey this past week. Marissa, Tyler and Kassidee enjoyed the evening catching lots of fish.
.. Sunday visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Truett Smalley were Mr. and Mrs. Kerry Whitner, Kenneth Smalley and Gary Bentley.
.. Ms. Mandy Dornberg was honored for her birthday with breakfast Friday morning at the home of her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Truett Smalley. Other guests were Mrs. Kerry Whitner, Mitch Whitner, Mrs. Carla Quarles and A.J. Young. A.J. brought his aunt a birthday cake for her birthday celebration.
.. Miss Alicia Bryant, Patrick Bryant and Bob Holley visited Mr. and Mrs. Dudley Bryant during the week.
.. Mr. and Mrs. Marion Cliatt and Mr. and Mrs. William Bentley visited Mr. and Mrs. George Jones at University Hospital Monday morning. William and Lee also got to see their granddaughter, Miss Erin Timmerman for a brief visit. She is working there for the summer.
.. Mrs. Bill Clary, Mrs. Thomas Bohler, Mrs. Truett Smalley, Mrs. Henry Whitner, Mrs. Carla Quarles and Mrs. William Bentley attended a wedding shower for Miss Nancy Young at Troy Baptist Church Fellowship Hall in Troy, S.C. on Saturday afternoon.
.. Mr. and Mrs. William Bentley were supper guests Saturday night with Mr. and Mrs. Franklin Bowick.
.. Gary Bentley visited Mr. and Mrs. William Bentley Sunday afternoon.
.. Mrs. Irene Bailey spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. William Bentley and attended church at Salem Baptist Church Sunday morning.
.. Father's Day lunch guests in the home of Mr. and Mrs. William Bentley were Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Timmerman, Ryan Timmerman, Miss Erin Timmerman, Mrs. Chuck Mahaffey, Ethan Mahaffey and Mrs. Irene Bailey.
.. Eugene Byrant spent Friday night with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dudley Bryant. He met his wife, Lauren Bryant, at the flea market in Athens on Saturday. They returned to Lincolnton and along with Miss Alicia Bryant, were supper guests together at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Dudley Bryant Saturday night.
.. Miss Alicia Bryant and Patrick Bryant were lunch guests on Sunday for Father's Day with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dudley Bryant.
.. Saturday, June 16, was Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Abel's 51st anniversary. Their children and grandchildren honored them by renting a pontoon and they spent the day on the lake enjoying a picnic and swimming. Family members enjoying the day were Mr. and Mrs. Chris Abel, Amanda and Keegan, Mr. and Mrs. Tim Abel of Guyton and Mrs. Pam Watson.
.. Mr. and Mrs. Chris Abel, Amanda and Keegan, Mr. and Mrs. Tim Abel of Guyton, Mrs. Pam Watson and Mrs. Kenneth Abel honored Mr. Kenneth Abel with lunch on Sunday for Father's Day.
.. Patrick Bryant visited in the William Bentley home Sunday afternoon. Waller graduates from Athens Tech Jacob Waller graduated from Athens Tech in commencement exercises Saturday evening, June 16, at the Classic Center in Athens.
Jacob, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wade Waller of Washington, earned an Associate in Applied Science-Physical Therapist Assistant.
At the Honor's Day program held May 17, Jacob received the Physical Therapist Assistant Achievement Award and was presented a $100 scholarship award check from Hart County Hospital.
Attending graduation exercises in addition to his parents were his brother, Wesley and grandparents, Mrs. Shirley Crocker of Washington and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Banks of Lincolnton.
Barden named to President's List for spring semester
Brittany Barden of Lincolnton, was named to the Georgia College & State University President's List for spring semester 2007.
To be selected for the President's List, a student must earn a minimum grade point average of 4.0 on 12 or more hours of work attempted for the semester.
