Hats donated for tea party

Helen McVicker, executive director of "When Help Can't Wait" was on hand and donated twenty luxury hats to the residents of Lake Crossing for its annual tea party. The tea was hosted by Damascus Baptist church volunteers and the Lake Crossing Activities Dept. A hat was presented to our lovely ladies to enjoy. "When Help Can't Wait" is a non-profit all volunteer organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for nursing home residents. They also donated shawls and knitted caps, along with books for the library and many other nice to have items for the residents.
