Campbell honored by GACA

Larry Campbell (c), athletic director and head football coach at LCHS, was presented with the 2007 Dwight Keith Award at the Georgia Athletic Coaches Association's (GACA) Annual Awards and Hall of Fame Banquet held Saturday, June 2, in Dalton. The award is given each year in recognition of an individual's overall coaching record, service to the GACA, sportsmanship, and dedicated loyalty to the highest and best in competitive athletics. Past recipients include Coach Dan Pitts, another outstanding Lincoln Countian, and Charlie Davidson, who coached the Washington-Wilkes Tigers for a number of years.
