Roberson honored at lingerie shower

Toni Roberson, bride-elect of Tom Callaway, was honored with a lingerie shower on Saturday, April 28 at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Scott Ware of Tignall. Joining Mrs. Ware in hosting the event were Mrs. Shaun Cox of Tignall, Mrs. Aaron Parton of Lincolnton, Mrs. Casey Carter and Mrs. IV Grimaud of Washington.

For the occasion Miss Roberson chose a white strapless top and khaki pants ensemble. She was presented a corsage of lingerie tied with lavender ribbon.

Guests were greeted at the front door and invited to the dining area where a delicious assortment of party foods were served.

The hostesses presented the brideelect an assortment of lingerie and candles.

Special guest included the brideelect's mother, Mrs. Rodney Roberson of Washington, the prospective bridegroom's mother, Mrs. Faye Callaway of Tignall, the brideelect's grandmothers, Mrs. Harry Partridge of Lincolnton and Mrs. Gayle Robinson of Washington.
